AN ANIMAL Blessing service will be held in Rawdon this month.
The event, organised by Animal Christian Concern (ACC), takes place at St Peter’s Church on Town Street from 2pm on Sunday, June 23.
Animal lovers can attend with or without their four legged friends for a thanksgiving and blessing service that will be led by the Bishop of Kirkstall, The Right Reverend Paul Slater.
Companion animals will be welcomed to the church on the day and will receive a blessing. Pet owners are asked to ensure the safety and control of their animals during the ceremony.

ACC campaigns for an end to human actions that cause animal suffering.
