SIXTY children and teenagers will take to the stage at Yeadon Town Hall tomorrow after a whirlwind preparation for a show.

The performers, aged between four and 18 attend Scalakids stage school and are raising money for Martin House Hospice.

They have had just five days to learn the songs, the harmonies, the choreography, fit the costumes and polish the performance before taking their production to the stage of Yeadon Town Hall on Friday, May 31 and Saturday, June 1.

The Magic of the Musicals is being billed as "a night of first class entertainment with song and dance from the world of musical theatre."

Proceeds from the show will go to Martin House Hospice, which looks after 450 families of children and young people with life limiting conditions. Scala shows have already raised more than £55,000 for the charity. To book tickets go to www.scalakids.com
