A MAN has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving following a crash on a Bradford Road in the early hours of this morning (Saturday).
West Yorkshire Police confirmed that a male had been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving following the crash which occurred just after midnight on Allerton Road at the junction of Chapel Lane.

One local resident said the car was travelling on Allerton Road in the direction of Rhodesway when it went around a bend and "crashed straight into the entrance of Ladyhill Park, destroying one stanchion of the gates that have stood for a century plus and nearly colliding with the First World War memorial".
