A Bradford taxi driver has shared the shocking moment he was abused in a road rage incident.
Raja Bilal, who lives in the BD3 area, was driving along Armley Road, Leeds, when the incident unfolded.
He claimed another driver first attempted to overtake him where the road splits into two.
Moments later, the motorist stopped his car in the middle of the road.
Raja, who has been a taxi driver since 2016, said: “He was behind me. I tried to go into the right lane and he tried to overtake me. He overtook me from the left side and caused me to stop my car. He came out from his car aggressively and wanted to fight with me.
“I felt very scared because usually people, they don’t do that, cut off people and come [out] from the car.
“He came up aggressively. Quickly I started recording so he calmed down a little bit.
“He was abusing me and saying, ‘Come out of the car’.

“I was feeling stressed. I rang the police.
“He cut me off in the middle of the road. I had to brake. The way he behaved, nobody wants to be treated like this and feel insulted.”
The incident lasted for around 15 to 20 seconds, Raja said, before the man returned to his car.
He reported the incident to West Yorkshire Police and Uber.
The suspect involved in the incident has since been identified by the police force.
In a statement, a spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: “The suspect was identified and words of advice given.”
