POLICE are appealing for witnesses and information about attempted burglaries in Glusburn.

It happened in The Old Corn Mill between 4.30am and 4.50am on Monday, June 14 and involved two males attempting to gain entry into parked vehicles and residential properties on the street.

Officers are appealing to anyone who saw suspicious activity in the area either at the time or in the hours or days leading up to the incident.

In particular, we are appealing for information about a black VW Scirocco that was seen to enter the cul-de-sac at 3.57am that morning and is suspected to be involved in the offence.
