AN 18-YEAR-OLD man was arrested for the second time in "a matter of weeks" after police found weapons, cash and a "large quantity of cannabis" in Low Moor.

Bradford South Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) recovered the items after carrying out a warrant in the area.

West Yorkshire Police - Bradford South said: "NPT Officers executed a warrant in the Low Moor area on [Thursday] afternoon following community intelligence. A large quantity of cannabis was seized, plus weapons and cash recovered, and an 18-year-old male arrested from the scene.

"This is the second time in a matter of weeks that this male has been arrested for similar offences.

"Again, this results in a significant blow for organised crime offenders, in particular financially for those living off ill-gotten gains.

"Bradford South NPT will continue to pursue community intelligence and target offenders who selfishly risk the safety of those most vulnerable in our communities.

"If you can provide information relating to crime in your community please don’t hesitate to contact us on 101 or through the West Yorkshire Police website. Alternatively, you can report things anonymously through Crimestoppers."
