TWO men have admitted carrying an offensive weapons - a cleaver and a baseball bat - in separate incidents in Cleckheaton.
The men, Reece Walker, 27, and Joseph Windle, 30, appeared before magistrates last week and were made the subject of 12 month community orders.
Walker, of Westcliffe, Dumbarton in Scotland, pleaded guilty to having a black handled cleaver with him in Serpentine Road in Cleckheaton on December 13, 2020.
He must take part in up to 30 rehabilitation activity days and pay a total of £180 to the courts.
Windle, of Foldings Grove, Scholes, Cleckheaton, pleaded guilty to having a baseball bat within him in Oxford Road, Cleckheaton, on March 21, 2021.
He must now carry out 40 hours of unpaid work and pay £180 to the courts.
Both appeared at Kirklees Magistrates Court on June 1.
