A COUPLE of white vans were prohibited to return to the road and another was seized at a police check site.
Operation Steerside cracked down on a number of illegal drivers in Keighley earlier today.
One driver of a Mercedes-Benz Sprinter was collecting engine parts for the owner as a favour.
Despite providing an insurance certificate, the person were not covered.
The vehicle was seized and the driver was reported via a traffic offence report.
Examiners issued an immediate prohibition to another driver whose Ford Transit van had faulty brakes, handbrake and propshaft.
A final van was prohibited by the DVSA due to its condition as police insisted it is "so important that vehicles are maintained in legal, good working order."
