A MAN is set to go on trial next month after an alleged bomb hoax at a court.
Martin Webb, 54, of Asquith Drive in Morley, faces two charges relating to an incident at Leeds Magistrates' Court on November 18 last year.
One of them, is communicating false information relating to a bomb hoax.
Webb allegedly led security staff at the court to believe that he had a bomb, despite him knowing this was false.
He has also been charged with racially/regiously aggravated intentional harassment/alarm/distress - words/writing.
Webb is alleged to have used threatening, abusive and insulting words or behaviour at Leeds Magistrates Court on that same day last year.
The 54-year-old appeared at Leeds Magistrates' Court yesterday (June 8), where he pleaded not guilty.
He opted for trial by jury and the case has been sent to Leeds Crown Court on July 6 this year.
Webb was given unconditional bail until the trial.
