AN Audi was wrote off after its crash caused a road to close yesterday.
The road traffic collison occurred on Chevet Lane, Wakefield.
It was one of a number of incidents the West Yorkshire Police's Road Safety Unit had to attend to in a busy day.
A provisional license holder with a baby on board was reported.
The Volkswagen Polo was seized after the driver had no L plates and was not under supervision.
There was no insurance cover either when the unit found the vehicle on Stocks Bank Road, Mirfield.
A driver who had no insurance was reported and saw their Jaguar X-type seized on the M1 Southbound.
The vehicle was halted at junction 41 with the driver thinking he would be able to drive to Coventry.
Meanwhile, a Vauxhall received the same treatment on Huddersfield Road in Ravensthorpe.
The driver had no insurance cover and upon inspection both front tyres of the vehicle were found to have insufficent tread.
