POLICE seized roughly £1,000 of suspected heroin and crack cocaine from a driver.
Officers from West Yorkshire Police's Leeds North West Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) stopped a blue vehicle in the Yeadon area on Monday morning.
They discovered quantities of heroin and crack cocaine - both Class A drugs - on the driver.
The drugs were worth approximately £1,000 in total.
Police arrested the driver on suspicion of possession with intent to supply Class A drugs and an investigation is underway.
A spokesperson for West Yorkshire Police said: "The supply and use of illegal drugs is something we take very seriously and will continue to combat whenever encountered, to keep our communities safe from the devastating effects Class A drugs can have."
