LOCAL manufacturers are being urged to sign up for an information event which will showcase the benefits and logistics behind the district’s first Bradford Manufacturing Week, in October.

Held at the Bradford Industrial Museum, the two-hour information event will held on Wednesday, May 16, from 9am. It will involve a series of short presentations from Bradford Chamber, career specialists Aspire igen, local schools and their pupils alongside current manufacturers who are involved with the Week which will run from October 8 to 12.

Organised by Nick Garthwaite, managing director of Bradford chemicals company, Christeyns, the information event to highlight the benefits of taking part in the district’s first spotlight on manufacturing to schools and local businesses.
