SKB LAW

The family law firm run by managing partner Sarah Khan-Bashir puts social impact and supporting the local community at its heart.

Last month she launched the SKB Law Academy to help more young people interested in the subject. She will be hosting free legal clinics at local venues to increase access to legal rights for women and girls, with a focus on Islamic divorce, and is exploring ways to help more women to enter or return to law after raising a family.

She helped establish Bradford’s Police Museum and is the regional chair for the Prince’s Trust youth charity.

GORDONS LLP

Since partnering with Centrepoint in May last year, Gordons LLP has been driving real change for homeless young people across Bradford.

It has raised thousands of pounds for Centrepoint’s services throughout the city and has taken on numerous challenges in support of the homeless young people.

It has also raised awareness of youth homelessness and had driven social change towards breaking down the stigma and isolation experienced by homeless young people in the region.
