The Keighley branch of a national retailer is supporting a national campaign to help local jobseekers.

The Cartridge World store in Cavendish Street is taking part in the ‘CV Sorted’ campaign and offering to print up to ten copies of CVs for unemployed customers until the end of March.

Keighley store manager Frank Greaves said: “We recognise that the job market is tough, with fierce competition for most vacancies and that people looking for work need all the help they can get, which is why we’re offering our customers this free service. Local residents have been overwhelmingly receptive to the campaign so far. We’re encouraging customers to come in store and take advantage of this free service.”

Cartridge World UK chairman John Richardson said: “Unemployment is a crucial problem facing our economy today and printing CVs is one small way we can use our resources to help those who need it. A good CV can immediately make you stand out.”

Customers have until Saturday, March 31, to take advantage of the offer and can e-mail their CV or visit the store with their CV on a CD.
