Bosses from a Bradford-based steel group converged on Texas to mark the official launch of the firm’s latest venture as part of growth and diversification plans.
Barrett Steel, based at Dudley Hill, has marked out oil and gas exploration as a potential growth sector as part of a move into new market sectors.
The company has officially launched its Houston, Texas, office operating from a purpose-built 33,000 sq ft premises and Barrett’s first operation in the United States.
