A SPECIAL drop-in day for people who are interested in taking up an apprenticeship in youth work will be held by Bradford Council on April 4.

The Youth Work Apprenticeship Day will be held from 10am to 4pm in the View Room at Margaret McMillan Tower, Bradford.

The Council’s youth service will shortly be advertising ten youth work apprenticeships vacancies, which will be full time and for a two year period.

People who are interested can come along and find out about what the role entails from experienced youth workers. They can also meet staff from the Council’s learning and development apprenticeship team and Bradford College’s youth and community department.

Apprentices can gain new skills, qualifications and training and to learn and develop in a professional working environment.
