An Otley company that helps charities and voluntary organisations tap into business skills has won recognition. A View from the Hill has won the work placement category prize in the National Council for Work Experience Awards (NCWE), recognising it as one of the UK’s best internship providers. The NCWE Awards, now in their tenth year, recognise employers who provide high quality internships.

Company founder, Ed Ryder (pictured with award sponsor Virginia Goodwill) said: “We work closely with the University of Leeds to offer placements to students of any degree discipline, supporting our ethos to develop the generation of tomorrow.” Bingley-based Emerald Publishing was also among the shortlisted organisations in the short-term placements category.
