The Bradford Means Business Awards 2021 aim to celebrate the successes and achievements of companies throughout the Bradford district.

Nominations are open across ten categories, and the Winner of Winners Award will be decided on the night.

Strong investment in their employees will need to be demonstrated by the firm that takes home the Employer of the Year prize at the 2021 awards ceremony.

Sponsored by Solenis, this award is to honour the district’s top employers. As well as demonstrating strong investment in their employees, these firms will have other key employee benefits, such as a reward scheme.

Companies must be able to demonstrate that the safety and security of their employees is of the utmost importance and will be paying the living wage.

It’s time to be rewarded and recognised as one of the best places to work in the area.

In 2019, Bradford-based Christeyns was crowned Employer of the Year for its caring, family approach to business.

Judges focused on businesses with a strong investment in employee health and wellbeing.

Nick Garthwaite, director at Christeyns, said at the time that treating employees like family

is what makes his business

a success.

He said: “They’re friends, they’re colleagues and I’m so proud of the work they do.

“It’s a lovely award to win. I think that being recognised as the employer of the year shouts above many awards. It’s absolutely for the people.”
