THE public has the chance to have their heart health checked out at an event to be held at Shipley Library next month.
Arrhythmia Day is being held on June 7, between 10am and 4pm in the library in Wellcroft, Shipley, and has been organised through Bradford District NHS Trust.
The event is being held during Arrhythmia Awareness Week.
Members of the public will be given a a blood pressure check and electrocardiogram.
A spokesman said: “We have invited one or two Bradford Bulls players.
“There will be basic life support skills and healthy living.
“We will be looking to find anyone with atrial fibrillation as anyone suffering from this may be at high risk of stroke and some people have no idea until they actually suffer a stroke.
