Paintbrush wielding police officers have been on a roll after giving up their spare time to help spruce up a community skate park.
Officers from the Ilkley Neighbourhood Policing Team (NPT) put on work clothes to help clean up the Ilkley Skate Park on New Brook Street as part of the Jubilee Hour challenge to mark the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.
The team were one of several in Airedale and North Bradford Police area who volunteered to take part in the charity drive, where officers and volunteers have been giving up an hour of their time to help improve their communities.
NPT staff including Ilkley Insp Sue Sanderson and Sgt Jo Beecroft, were joined by volunteers, including children, for the initiative, which was supported by Bradford Council.
