Olympic torchbearers from across Bradford, including Jamie Brown, will get VIP treatment as guests of the Lord Mayor of Bradford at a special civic reception at City Hall on Thursday.
Figures released by tourism chiefs reveal more than 100,000 spectators turned out to watch the Olympic flame as it made its way through Bradford district as part of its historic 8,000-mile trip around the UK.
A total of 30,000 Bradfordians watched in City Park and Lister Park, 20,000 in both Keighley and Ilkley and 25,000 in Skipton according to tourist body Welcome to Yorkshire.
