Eleven new acts were today announced for this year’s Bingley Music Live festival.

Organisers of the three-day event have also revealed the line-up for each stage – with The Charlatans headlining the main stage on Friday, August 31, rockers Razorlight on Saturday, September 1, and chart-toppers Nero on Sunday, September 2.

Bradford Council announced a top array of new performers will join the Main Stage bill, including blues band The Jim Jones Revue, singer and rapper L Marshall, and a specially selected BBC Introducing band from its Hackney Weekend.

Up and coming acts Juan Zelada, Karima Francis, Lilygreen & Maguire, Me And My Friends, Spirit of John, The Milk, Maquipucuna, Matt Belmont, and Nico Cara will perform on the Raise The Roof stage. They join acts already announced, including Maverick Sabre, The Pigeon Detectives and Stooshe.

Coun Andrew Thornton, executive member responsible for leisure, said: “With a special guest still to be announced, I would encourage people to buy their tickets soon.”

Now in its sixth year, Bingley Music Live is introducing improvements to its dedicated family area and the Raise the Roof stage. A new third stage dedicated to local talent, organised in association with the Musicians' Centre, is also being introduced for 20 bands who live within the BD postcode area.
