Two Bradford men have been among 26 people arrested by detectives after football fans clashed in Huddersfield.
The arrests follow the release of CCTV images of men police wanted to speak to and were printed in the Telegraph & Argus last week.
The clash happened on the afternoon of the Championship Play-Off final on Saturday, May 19, when fans of Huddersfield Town, Bradford City and Leeds United went on the rampage.
It started on Westgate and Market Street in Huddersfield, before continuing in the railway station and spilling onto the tracks.
Several men chased each other along the platforms and down the track towards Deighton causing 61 trains to be delayed and seven to be cancelled altogether.
The men, of Wyke, who are now on bail pending police investigations are aged 20 and 19, the others of Huddersfield, Leeds, Wakefield and Selby, are aged between 15 and 47.
Acting Detective Sergeant Nick Doyle has warned of further arrests. He said: “Huddersfield CID wants to send out a clear message to so called fans who want to cause trouble.”
