Two men from Wyke, Bradford, have been arrested by police after rival football fans clashed in Huddersfield.

They are among 26 people arrested following the release of CCTV images of men police wanted to speak to.

The images were printed in the Telegraph & Argus and published on this website last week.

The clash happened on the afternoon of the Championship Play-Off final on Saturday, May 19 when fans of Huddersfield Town, Bradford City and Leeds United went on the rampage.

It started on Westgate and Market Street in Huddersfield, before continuing in the railway station and spilling on to the tracks. Several men chased each other through the platforms and eventually down the track towards Deighton, causing 61 trains to be delayed and seven to be cancelled altogether.

In all, the disruption caused 893 minutes worth of delays and cost thousands in lost earnings, a loss that is footed by the tax payer.
