Around 70 people have added their signature to a petition pledging to boycott firms signing up to the £40 million New Victoria Place development on the site of the former Bradford Odeon cinema.
Protesters want to save the 1930s cinema building from demolition and launched a campaign on Monday vowing to name and shame potential tenants of the scheme.
Rumours that Morrisons was to open a store in New Victoria Place or take office space, were quelled yesterday, with the company responding on Twitter saying it had no such plans.
Developer Langtree has maintained its commitment to building offices, a hotel and apartments on the site.
