Police yesterday appealed for witnesses to a Bradford robbery.

Officers are seeking information about an attack on a 45-year-old man on the Pitty Beck Wetlands, off Bell Dean Road, in Lower Grange.

The man was assaulted by two men at about 5.30pm on Friday, May 25, after he had spotted them on a motorcycle in the area earlier.

The victim tried to escape but was assaulted and his camera and rucksack stolen.

Both suspects made off towards Thornton Road.

The first was white, 17 to 19-years-old and 5ft 5ins to 5ft 6ins tall. He was skinny and pale with dyed black hair parted in the middle.

He was well spoken and wore a black jacket with white stitching, a white T-shirt with a large design on the front in dark green, and black, and dark trousers.

The second man was similar in appearance and around 16-years-old, about 5ft 5ins tall, of skinny build, with the same haircut and wearing a dark T-shirt.

Witnesses are asked to call Detective Constable Angela Harvey, at Airedale and North Bradford CID, on the 101 non-emergency number.
