Roberts Park in Saltaire will be a sea of wheels on Saturday when a festival of cycling takes place.

Cycle Fest, starting at 11am, is an opportunity for all the family to get involved in a wide range of cycling activities.

The day is organised as part of the go:cycling project to get more people cycling safely.

At 11.30am there will be a mountain bike ride at Shipley Glen, with a second one taking place at 1.30pm. Between 1pm and 2pm there will be a Shipley Glen Tramway hill climb.

Activities include BMX Bandits and a demonstration of roller racing from the East Bradford cycle club.

People who want to cycle to the event can join a bike ride from East Riddlesden Hall in Crossflatts at 10am and another Apperley Bridge at 10am.
