Airedale Hospital bosses are seeking volunteers to join its patient and carer panel.
The group works with doctors, nurses and other staff to provide a view of hospital services from a patient or carer perspective.
Karen Dunwoodie, patient experience lead at Airedale NHS Foundation Trust, said: “In the past, panel members have helped by being a ‘fly on the wall’ to see how patients and staff communicate with each other. They have worked with staff to re-word letters to make them easier to understand and they have also obtained public opinion about using symbols to identify patients who need special care.”
