Big-hearted pupils at a Bingley school are jumping for joy in their latest fundraiser.
Youngsters at Lady Lane Park School in Lady Lane decided to do a sponsored skip to raise funds for the national charity Guide Dogs for the Blind after doing some work on how they should think about people whose lives are more difficult.
After arranging an assembly for someone from the charity to talk about their work and see some of the Guide Dogs and the people who they support, head teacher, Gill Wilson, said the children promised to do a sponsored skip to help boost the charity’s funds.
They even designed their own sponsor forms for the fundraiser which, they hope, will enable them to raise enough money to fund a guide dog for the charity.
