Older residents are preparing to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Otley Aged People’s Welfare Centre.
An invitation-only open evening featuring an exhibition of memorabilia connected to the Crossgate building will take place on Wednesday, April 25.
Refreshments and wine will also be served on the night, which has been organised by the centre’s main tenants, Otley Over 60s Club.
The club has sent out invitations to individuals and groups who have had connections with the building, but is keen not to overlook anyone. Anybody who would like to attend but has not received an invitation should contact chairman Danny Sloan on (01943) 462314 or secretary Doris Porteous on (01943) 461778.
