A man has been given a £260 fine and banned from driving for 56 days after he was caught driving a quad bike with a small child on the handlebars. Officers from Tong and Wyke neighbourhood policing team spotted the pair. Neither the rider nor child were wearing protective clothing and the bike was not roadworthy, police said.
