Police in Shipley have made a new appeal for a stolen phone, containing pictures of a woman’s late brother, to be returned to its owner.

The Apple iPhone 3GS was stolen from a 26-year-old woman in the toilet area of the Sycamore’s pub in Norman Lane, Eccleshill, at around 10:30pm, on December 23.

PC Stuart Albrow, of Shipley Police, said: “The victim's phone contains a number of photographs of her brother and she is understandably very keen to get these photographs back as they are of enormous sentimental value.

“We are investigating this theft and anyone who has information can contact me, via 101. Information about the location of the phone, or the offence, can also be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers, on 0800 555 111.”
