Pupils at a Bingley primary school continued their impressively high standard after once again being named in the top 200 in the country.
Every pupil at St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Bingley achieved level four or above in English and maths at Key Stage Two.
Head teacher Mary McAndrew said the school had a history of achieving level four across the board in Key Stage Two. She said: “We are absolutely thrilled again, and it’s just testament to the hard work of the children and staff.
“We are usually in the top 20 per cent in the country. It’s consistent teaching – they work very hard.
“We usually get 100 per cent across the board in English and maths. So we are thrilled – it’s nice to see the results for all your hard work, but then again all the teachers work hard in the district. But what’s more pleasing for us is every child has made the expected progress.”
