House building targets which could put thousands of new homes on green belt land came under fire at a meeting in Ilkley tonight.
Around 100 people concerned about Ilkley’s future attended the meeting at Ilkley Rugby Club over Bradford Council’s proposed Local Development Framework (LDF).
Ilkley Parish Council called the meeting to gather views on the LDF, which could bring 3,000 new houses to Wharfedale – 1,300 of which may be in Ilkley itself.
