The widower of alcoholic mother-of-three Sharon Batey, who collapsed and died in police custody, says she would be proud of how her young son has dealt with her death.
Ian Batey, 48, said their son Connor, now nine, missed his mum and still talked about her every day.
But the youngster is doing well at school, and even helps his dad cope with their loss.
