The Bulls have been warned their jobs are on the line.

With Wakefield playing for their Super League lives tonight, all the attention has switched to John Kear's side.

Relegation could see anxious Wildcats players axed or left facing massive wage cuts so it really is win or bust for them.

Bradford are safe in fourth and looking excitedly to the play-offs but boss Steve McNamara insists his players are under threat just as much following some shoddy recent displays.

Although thrashing Castleford, they have lost at Wakefield's relegation rivals Harlequins and Wigan either side and given performances that have left McNamara thinking changes could be needed in his own squad.

"A lot of the focus is on Wakefield and that will be good because we have had plenty of focus on us this year for a variety of reasons," he said.

"We are aware of the situation they are in and they are a desperate side.

"We have played three very desperate sides in the last three very desperate weeks and we are aware of what sides can achieve when their livelihoods are at stake.

"But our players have to realise too that their livelihoods and careers are at stake because if they don't perform then we will have to bring in other players.

"Wakefield need to win two from two to give themselves a chance and it's no secret that they will come out fighting. But we need to win and we will be fighting as well."

McNamara is striving to get his squad clicking from week to week, knowing there will be no second chances once the play-offs begin.

He promotes centre Karl Pryce to the starting line-up tonight meaning Ben Harris reverts to the bench where he is likely to be used predominantly as a second-rower.

Groin victim Jamie Langley is out so Brad Meyers steps up and Matt Cook - frustrated by a lack of game-time recently - gets a welcome shot.

McNamara concedes he is amazed that Wakefield find themselves in such a perilous position on the penultimate weekend of the season.

"I'm very, very surprised that they are where they are," he said.

"Wakefield have some truly outstanding rugby league players and they are a dangerous side at the best of times.

"They are desperate now and doubly dangerous with what is at stake while they know we under-performed at Wigan.

"I reckon we're going to see some blood and thunder from them and we have to be ready for that."
