A ‘heritage crime scene’ was declared outside Manningham Pool to mark its closure.
Bradford Council has shut the grade-II listed Edwardian building to save £119,000.
The Victorian Society, which has been highlighting the importance of the community facility to try to force a rethink, underlined its continued stance on the closure by putting up yellow and black crime scene tape and a noticeboard outside the pool yesterday afternoon.
Members wore forensic suits to draw attention to the stunt ahead of a final hour-long swimming session at the pool at 6.30pm.
