Ballgowns and black ties are optional as the Last Night of the Proms is shown live on Bradford's giant screen.
The pinnacle event of the classical music calendar will be broadcast in Centenary Square on Saturday night.
Seating will be available in the square, and the surrounding restaurants, cafes and hotels will have special offers on the night.
To get everyone in the mood for the start of the prom screening at 8pm, a string quartet and other entertainers will be performing in the square from 7pm.
Bradford Centre Regeneration (BCR) is also hosting a VIP marquee in the square, with celebrities including Changing Room's Linda Barker on the guest list. The VIP event is sponsored by the Great Victoria hotel.
BCR chief executive Maud Marshall said: "This is an ideal chance to bring together Bradfordians to celebrate the regenerated Centenary Square.
"We are looking forward to a big crowd to sing along to the nation's favourite classical anthems."
She added: "We will continue to develop the centre as a place to socialise and enjoy entertainment and culture."
This year's Last Night of the Proms has a Russian feel to it, as it is composer Shostakovich's centenary year.
World famous baritone Dimitri Hvorostovsky and violinist Viktoria Mullova will be performing classics including Jerusalem and Elgar's Pomp and Circumstance March No 1 (Land of Hope and Glory).
Other gems expected to woo the crowds are Shostakovich's festival overture, Bizet's Toreador's Song from Carmen and Prokoviev's violin concerto in G minor.
