A 200-metre exclusion zone has been set up by police while firefighters cool a gas cylinder at risk of exploding in a fire off Leeds Road, Bradford.
Large parts of the road are expected to be closed until around 4pm on Sunday.
Firefighters are using a remote ground monitor to cool the cylinder from a safe distance.
Crews from nearby Bradford fire station were called to a fire in open ground in Mulgrave Street, down the side of Café Akbars in Leeds Road at 3.30pm on Satuday when they noticed the cylinder.
