A myth-busting week about food hygiene saw Bradford schoolchildren learn a thing or two about baking and kitchen cleanliness.
Pupils at Carlton Bolling College were at Jamie Oliver’s Ministry of Food centre in John Street, Bradford, as part of Bradford Council’s programme of awareness events to mark Food Safety Week.
Environmental health officers gave teenagers tips on food preparation and discussed ‘use by’ and ‘best before’ labels.
Today, the team was hosting a play session for mothers and pre-school children at St Edmund’s Children’s Centre in Girlington.
