Organisers of a fundraising concert in Keighley hope to attract a West End singer to perform.
Songs for Our Soldiers aims to bring the best modern musicals to the stage of Keighley Playhouse.
Leading local performers will present songs from top shows at the “patriotic” show on July 8 and 9. The programme will include Evita, Chess, Beauty and the Beast, Oliver! and Les Miserables.
The show is the brainchild of local producer-actor Steven Clark and singer-actress Nikki Barrett. Nikki has performed at the Royal Albert Hall as well as playing lead roles in major amateur productions.
Joining her on the stage will be Kathryn Tonks who has performed with several local groups including Keighley Playhouse.
The concert will raise money for the armed services charity Help for Heroes. Steven, 31, said Songs for Our Soldiers would be a celebration of life in music, with a patriotic feel. Songs for Our Soldiers will be performed at 7.30pm both nights. Tickets cost £7.50 from 07944 459777 or sclarkproductions@yahoo.co.uk.
