Two lanes of the M62 were closed between Brighouse and Chain Bar after a crash between two vehicles today.
Police were called to the accident on the eastbound car-riageway at about 9.40am. Tailbacks formed back to junction 24 at Ainley Top.
A West Yorkshire Police spokesman said one person had been injured.
