Plans have been submitted to set up a snooker and pool hall at an iconic Bradford mill, which would stay open until 5am every day.
Under the proposals for Lister Mills, Manningham, alcohol will also be served at the snooker and pool hall, if Bradford Council grants permission.
Parts of the building at the north east edge of Lister Mills are unused offices, according to the application submitted by agents Belmont Designs on behalf of Rakhmat Bi.
Miss Bi wants to refurbish the offices on the first floor into the snooker and pool hall, as well as providing four full-time jobs and creating 20 parking spaces, to be accessed off Beamsley Road.
The hall would also include a cafe and bar and would be open from noon until 5am every day of the week including Sundays and Bank Holidays.
A statement to Bradford Council with the application reads: “The proposed change of use relates to a small area of the first floor of Lister Mills accessed off Heaton Road, Bradford.
“The proposed use is for a snooker hall and pool hall with a cafe and bar for the sale of drinks and alcohol.
“The proposed facilities will be accessed from an existing entrance adjacent the main entrance.
“Twenty parking spaces will be available in the main car park accessed off Beamsley Road as detailed on application drawings.
“There is also on street parking available adjacent.”
No-one from Belmont Designs was available for comment about the application.
