Red-hot Terry Newton's run of scintillating form is instantly cooled tonight as he misses out due to an ankle injury.

The absence of the Great Britain hooker, who received the knock in last week's loss at Harlequins, hands a rare start to Aussie Ian Henderson.

Bulls do welcome back Karl Pryce after he rested a knee strain in London and he is likely to start at centre with Ben Harris reverting to the bench.

Matt Cook is set to drop out and play for the Senior Academy unless Andy Lynch doesn't shake off a groin strain suffered in training yesterday.

Prop Lynch admits there will be no room for sentimentality if he tackles his relegation-threatened former team-mates this evening.

Cas are just one point above the drop zone and were hammered 72-4 by Saints last Sunday but Lynch - who left the Tigers when they were relegated two years ago - said: "I play for Bradford now and we need two points as well.

"Even if it's only 20-18 we need two points. I hope Cas stay up and think they have enough to do that.

"They are a quality side and showed against Leeds that they can beat anyone, while drawing against us as well. They'll want to come back after Saints and show they are worthy of playing in Super League.

"Cas will be fired up but we need to put things right too. We have got to get some contact into them from the first minute.

"Against Quins we were lethargic and flat. I don't know why but we must now fire into Cas."

The Bulls were strangely fragile and limp in both attack and defence at the Twickenham Stoop but McNamara senses his softened side have rediscovered their edge.

"They tore into each other in training on Monday and they have continued in that vein, with regards to the intensity of practice, all week," he said.

"They are still hurting, as I am, from the way we performed and they want to get that bad taste out of their mouths."
