But entry is by web-form at telegraphandargus/bradfordmeans business and we’ll be coming back to long-listed entrants for more information before the judging process begins in earnest, so get your bid for an award in now.

The New Business of the Year category is sponsored by the Bradford College School of Management.

We’ve put the awards together with our partners the Bradford Chamber and Bradford Council.

Synergy People Solutions Ltd was incorporated in June 2010, and is the brainchild of local businessmen Brian Carlton and Billy Bingham, who both owned independent sector specific businesses prior to its inception.

They say: “Born from a desire to inject new ideas and a new business offering to the regional recruitment and human resources market, Synergy People Solutions Ltd can offer a true 360 degree recruitment and HR lifecycle service, to include permanent and temporary recruitment consultancy services, recruitment payroll support and a comprehensive bespoke SME human resources offering to include staff development, performance, employee relations, reward and recruitment and selection.

“The idea for the business came from the identification in the market for a business that could offer SMEs, without a dedicated internal HR manager or resource, the added value full journey employee life cycle advice and support package.

“From initial recruitment need identification through to recruitment and selection and ongoing HR support and issue management, there are currently no other businesses locally/regionally that can offer recruitment AND full cycle human resources support services to its clients.

“The business plan was formulated methodically over a 12-month period, to include an in-depth market research programme, brand development, client feedback surveys and internal staff identification.

“No stone was left unturned with regards to potential market penetration and client spend ceiling. A detailed examination of the regions competitors was also carried out to identify best and worst practice.”

There will be a glittering awards ceremony on Saturday, March 26, at the Aagrah Midpoint restaurant in Thornbury. Make sure you get your entry in to be in with a chance.
