Police are appealing for information after nine cars were broken into in a village.
The thefts were recorded in Burley-in-Wharfedale in the last month, with cars in Southfield Road and Hall Drive among those targeted.
Four youths from the Baildon and Shipley area, aged between 15 and 20, have been arrested in connection with the offences and inquiries are continuing.
The jump in thefts brought the total crime figures for Burley in October up to 22, with the statistics including one house burglary and four incidents of criminal damage.
