A Remembrance Sunday walk on the moors above Silsden and Addingham will visit the sites where two wartime aircraft crashed.
The guided walk, on November 14, will take in memorials at Windgate Nick and High Crag.
One of the memorials was erected this year with the help of local landowner and farmer Alan Fothergill.
As a young boy, Mr Fothergill saw the Mosquito aircraft crash near to White Crag Plantation and Windgate Nick.
The walk, entitled High Above Addingham, will be led by a Bradford Council guide.
The five-mile walk, which will also visit the remains of Ilkley’s first golf course, starts at the turning circle in Hebers Ghyll Drive, Ilkley, at 10.30am. It goes uphill and crosses rough moorland terrain.
More details are available from bradford.gov.uk/countryside.
A colour guide of the route can be downloaded from the Bradford Council website.
