Children’s reading was celebrated at Manningham Library in Bradford when author Andrew Newbound talked to young people about his works of fiction.
The Yorkshireman is probably best known for his ‘Demon Strike’ comic fantasy series about battling angels and demons.
He spoke to 60 youngsters to celebrate Children’s Book Week.
The visit was one of several events held at libraries throughout the district to celebrate the week. Other events saw children huddle for a Polish storytime at Allerton Library and stories from around the world at Burley-in-Wharfedale Library.
Mr Newbound visited six libraries to perform fun sessions around his book to 12 schools.
