a well-known cafe bar and nightclub in Bradford’s West End is due to reopen tomorrow after a four-month closure.

In early June the Telegraph & Argus reported how a slump in trade had caused the closure of the Love Apple, at 34 Great Horton Road. But now the venue is set to reopen after a major refurbishment programme.

Ben Kearns, 24, of Wibsey, and Matthew Knight, 24, of Sandy Lane, will promote the new-look Love Apple on behalf of a local entrepreneur, who does not want to be named.

Mr Knight said: “There are a lot of people who are really happy that it’s opening again. We will be doing student nights throughout the week, then on Saturdays we’ve got the electro-house scene.”
