A new minister will be welcomed into Horsforth with a special service next week.
The Methodist Churches of Horsforth, Bramley, Rodley, Farsley and Pudsey, will greet the Reverend Alistair Jones into the Leeds (Wesley) Circuit on Friday, September 3, at 7.30pm at the Grove Methodist Church, Town Street, Horsforth.
He will have spiritual and pastoral care of The Grove and Central churches in Horsforth, and will be a key member of the Horsforth community as he joins with services and activities organised through Horsforth Churches Together.
Mr Jones is moving from his previous ministry in Enfield, Middlesex, and his wife, Jenny, will be taking up her first appointment as a Deacon at Oxford Place Methodist church in the centre of Leeds.
